How your data helps the pet community

When you use Pawdit, we collect anonymised information about how products are explored: things like which product categories are most popular, which ingredients people investigate, and which allergens are most commonly tracked.

This data is grouped with thousands of other users and cannot be traced back to you or your pet. Here's what we strip before any data enters our analytics system: your name, your email address, your pet's name, your exact location, and anything else that could identify you.

We share aggregated insights with pet food brands to help them understand what pet owners care about. For example, we might tell a brand that 40% of users exploring their products tapped on the omega-3 beneficial ingredient highlight, but we'd never tell them which users or which pets.

This data sharing is how we keep Pawdit free for all pet owners. Brands pay for access to these aggregated insights. You benefit from a free product, and the industry benefits from better understanding of what pet owners want.

If you'd prefer not to contribute, you can turn this off at any time in Settings. Your experience on Pawdit won't change.
